This is a plain-language notice for the current product preview, not the final legal policy for a commercial service.
The trading review
Your trades are stored in your account and reviewed by Sal personally. They're never sent to an AI service, and we don't sell or share them.
For a review we keep the trades rebuilt from your statement, the receipt that says what was read and set aside, your answers to the three questions, and what you say about each finding. The original CSV file is parsed and not kept. The $40 payment is taken by Stripe in one charge; ThesisTape never sees your card number.
What this preview saves
When you sign in and choose to import or save, the app stores your normalized closed positions, uploaded underlying bars, timestamped reflections, and self-reported profile details (including identity, markets, specialty, strengths, blind spots, and goals). Records are scoped to your account. Original CSV files are parsed and not retained as separate files.
Accounts and payments
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Payments, when enabled, are handled by Stripe; ThesisTape never sees your full card number. We store your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference so we can show your plan.
Conversation and voice
The chat sends the text needed for each request to Anthropic's Claude API. Optional dictation uses your browser's speech-recognition service, which may transmit audio to the browser provider. ThesisTape saves the transcript only when you send a reflection. This preview does not store audio recordings.
Access, export, and deletion
The website is accessible to visitors. Saving and accessing personal records requires sign-in, with server-side identity checks. Export your workspace as JSON or delete your saved trades, reflections, and profile from the Profile page. Deletion removes active application records; infrastructure logs and provider backup retention are governed by the hosting providers.
Accuracy and limits
Demo trades and bars are synthetic. Uploaded trades use your supplied execution prices and fees. Underlying bars must be provided separately; historical option marks and Greeks are unavailable. The app does not place orders or provide personalized buy or sell recommendations.
Before public launch
A commercial launch needs an operating entity, support contact, retention schedule, subprocessor disclosures, applicable user rights, and finalized terms. Those details have not been established, and paid accounts are not yet available.
